This story by Elysia Whisler deals with issues both serious and light. Constance and Sunny work together quite well, and all the while romance begins to bloom for for Constance. The sisters have no trouble stepping over any lines when it comes to barging in and dealing with the owners of these despicable mills, focusing on one woman named Janice Matteri in particular. This book most certainly touches on the serious subject of puppy mills. Keeping the dog rescue afloat is Constance's ultimate goal, even it involves risk and danger. The two soon find that they have a lot in common, despite Rhett's reticence to become involved. Meanwhile, Constance has joined a new gym, and this brings her into contact with the owner, Rhett Santos. Constance Morrigan and her sister Sunny are very busy when it comes to rescuing dogs from puppy mills, even if it means taking illegal actions when they deem it necessary.
